The Cordeshof is an event venue for companies in Berlin-Grunewald: hall and garden right next to Messe Berlin – hired separately or exclusively, with in-house technical production and deliveries right up to the gate.

Brands book the Cordeshof because it tells a story of its own: a listed ensemble from the late nineteenth century, once the workshops and operations yard of the Berlin railway. Red brick, green steel girders, a wooden gallery and a hall that can be turned into a showroom, a cinema or a dinner for the sales team within an hour. Outside, a meadow with room for a summer party complete with stage and food trucks.

And because the Cordeshof is run by Veranstaltungsatelier, a Berlin production team with many years of experience, you can have the production along with the venue if you wish: one point of contact, one quote, one schedule.

What works well here.

Summer and year-end partiesThe reception and the dancing take place in the hall, while a large summer party can unfold outside in the garden. Beer benches stand beneath the trees, the barbecue is lit, and the band plays on the stage. Should the weather fail to cooperate, the party simply moves into the hall and carries on there without missing a beat.
Product launchesIn the hall, the stage and screen stand ready for the big moment, and the new products can be displayed at leisure along the brick wall. The press take their seats up on the gallery, from where they have the whole scene in view.
Brand activations and pop-upsThe Cordeshof can be transformed entirely into a brand space, as the gate, the wall and the hall can all be dressed alike. Deliveries by lorry are straightforward, and for elaborate productions, a build over several days is available on request.
Shoots and content daysOn the grounds you will find five settings in a single place: the old brick, the daylight falling through the tall windows, the meadow, the courtyard and the railway tracks in the background. That way, varied material comes together in a single day without your team having to relocate even once.
All-hands meetings and kick-offsFor the meeting, the hall is set out in theatre-style seating, and sound and lighting come straight from us, in-house. Afterwards, everyone gathers at the bar for a flying buffet. All the teams come together in one place, and there is time for the conversations that so often get lost in the working day.
Conferences and off-sitesThe plenary meets in the large hall, while the gallery offers space for smaller working groups. In the breaks, everyone heads out into the garden to clear their heads in the fresh air before the next round begins.
Press and partner eveningsThe grounds are screened from view and are yours exclusively for the evening, with our own bar and kitchen in-house. The venue stays confidential until you decide to reveal it to your guests.
Fairs and marketsThe stands take their place in the hall, while marquees and food trucks can also be set up on the grounds. Power and water connections are available at the edge of the garden, so even larger markets can be realised without complication.

You can book just the venue. Most people add the production, because it is simpler.

Concept and running order: Dramaturgy, schedule, guest flow, budget. We think from the guest's point of view, not from the floor plan.
Technical production and set-up: Sound, lighting, video, staging, furniture, power. With partners we know, and a production manager who is on site.
Kitchen and bar: From flying buffet to set menu, from the coffee bar in the morning to the signature drink at midnight – from our kitchen or with your caterer.
On the day itself: Event management, service, security, take-down. You look after your guests, we take care of the rest.

Questions from tenders and briefings

Which spaces are suitable for corporate events?

The hall suits standing receptions, theatre-style seating or dinner set-ups. The garden accommodates larger summer parties with stage, marquees and food trucks.

What technical equipment is available?

We provide sound, lighting and staging in-house, along with three-phase power in the hall and at the edge of the garden, a screen for screenings and fast Wi-Fi. Anything beyond that – LED walls, trussing, simultaneous interpretation equipment – our production team organises with partners we have worked with for years.

Can we brand the grounds?

Yes. The brick wall, courtyard, gate and hall can all be dressed – with banners, projections, installations or a complete brand space. The courtyard allows deliveries by articulated lorry, and the hall has rigging points. We will tell you in advance what works and what the neighbours would rather not see.

How quickly will we receive a quote?

Within two working days of your enquiry – with venue, technical production, catering and staff in a single document. For tenders, we can include a floor plan and a technical data sheet on request.

Is the Cordeshof available for exclusive hire?

Yes, on request. The hall, gallery, bar and garden can be hired separately or the whole site exclusively – in which case there are no parallel events, no outside guests and no shared spaces. Important for press occasions, launches and anything that needs to stay confidential until the day.

How do guests reach the Cordeshof from City West?

By S-Bahn to Messe Süd, then a few minutes on foot along Eichkampstraße. By car via the A115, with parking on the grounds. From BER airport it is around 45 minutes, and shuttles can drive right up to the gate.
