The site lies on Cordesstraße – named after Heinrich Cordes, a former head of the Grunewald railway workshops – right by the S-Bahn and yet surrounded by green. Ku’damm, the Messe and City West are only a few minutes away, and from Charlottenburg and Wilmersdorf you can even come by bike.
The brick buildings here were built around 1900 as the workshops and operations yard of the Berlin railway. The hall has tall windows, green steel girders, a gallery with a wooden floor and a long bar. The garden is large enough for a summer party with a stage and food trucks, and quiet enough for a celebrant-led ceremony beneath the trees. And because the team behind the Cordeshof has been producing events for years, technical production, catering and staff can come as part of the package if you wish.
Red brick, windows reaching almost to the roof, girders in dark green. In the afternoon the light falls at an angle across the concrete floor; in the evening the lamps above the bar take over. A room that carries a reception just as well as a dinner at long tables or a dance floor that goes on into the night.

Up a flight of stairs: a wooden floor, steel railings and a view across the whole hall. Upstairs is the place for lounges, a second buffet or the band. Anyone wanting a moment away from the bustle has the best seat here – and is still right in the middle of it all.

From Messe Süd S-Bahn station, the route runs along Eichkampstraße, under the A115 and on to Cordesstraße, as far as the Cordeshof.
